Silent Horizon
Silent Horizon is the darkest loop in this group and the only one that is out of tune on purpose. Every note in it sits about a third of a semitone below concert pitch, by the same margin each time, so it works beautifully on its own and fights anything pitched normally. Flat on purpose
One low note dominates, with a handful of quieter tones above it, and every one of them is flat by roughly the same amount. A consistent offset across the whole file is a deliberate choice by whoever made it rather than drift or error.
The practical effect is that it sits fine alongside anything without a pitch and clashes with anything that has one. Layer it under rain or noise and nothing goes wrong; layer it under a tuned pad such as Harmonic Tide and the two will fight.
Silent Horizon or Lunar Tide
These two are the closest pair in this set and there is no point pretending otherwise. Both are dominated by a single note near the bottom of the range, both leave the top of the spectrum nearly empty, and both run 32 seconds with no events in them. The differences are small: this one sits about a tone and a half lower than Lunar Tide and spreads wider. Try both and keep whichever you prefer.
If you want something in the same register with more happening, Celestial Visions adds a shimmer layer over comparable low weight. The Silent Horizon and rain blend in the free sound mixer works well because rain has no pitch to clash with.
